1. Introduction

Micro Radio (hereinafter referred to as “the App”) is a free, lightweight internet radio application based on the open-source Radio Browser service. This Privacy Policy clearly explains our privacy practices and fully discloses how we handle user information when you use the App. We prioritize user privacy as our core design principle, adhering to the data minimization and zero-tracking principles.

2. No Account Registration & Login Required

The App does NOT require any registration, login, account creation or identity verification. Users can access and use all core functions of Micro Radio, including browsing, searching and playing radio stations, without providing any personal information or creating a user account. There is no user account system in the App at all.

3. Zero User Data Collection

Micro Radio does not collect, store, process, transmit or share any user data of any kind, whether personal identifiable information or non-personal usage data. Specifically, but not limited to:

  • We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, age, gender or any personal identity information;
  • We do not collect your device information, IP address, device identifiers, system version or device hardware data;
  • We do not collect your location information, network information or browsing and playback history;
  • We do not use any analytics tools, tracking SDKs, advertising modules or crash monitoring tools to collect user behavior data;
  • We do not record, upload or synchronize any of your in-app operation records and preferences.

4. Local Data Storage Only

All personalized preferences generated during your use of the App (such as local favorite radio stations, local playback settings) are only stored locally on your personal device. These local data will never be automatically uploaded to any remote server, nor will they be accessed, acquired or stored by us or any third parties. You have full control over all local data on your device, and you can clear relevant data at any time through your device system settings.

5. Third-Party Service Disclosure (Radio Browser)

The App relies on the open Radio Browser public service to provide radio station data and streaming resources. We only call the public open interface of Radio Browser to obtain public radio station resource information. We do not transmit any user personal data to Radio Browser or any other third-party platforms. The data requested by the App is only public radio resource data, which is not associated with any individual user identity. Your use of the radio streaming service is subject to the Radio Browser’s own privacy policy and terms of service.

6. No Data Sharing, Selling or Leaking

Since we do not collect any user data at all, we will never share, sell, rent or disclose any user personal information to third-party companies, organizations or individuals under any circumstances, and there will be no data leakage risk caused by our operation.

7. No Cookies & No Tracking

The App does not use Cookies, web beacons, tracking codes or any other tracking technologies to record user behavior, track user activities or build user portraits.

8. Children’s Privacy

The App is suitable for users of all ages. We do not collect any information from children or adults. No personal data of minors will be generated, stored or uploaded during the use of the App.

9. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally to adapt to service adjustments and regulatory requirements. The updated policy will be displayed in the App or official channels, and the latest update date will be marked at the top of the policy. Continued use of the App after the update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
